Location: Heber Springs Transfer Station
Pay Range: $20-22/hr., depending on experience | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Start Time: 7:00 AM | 10+ Hour Days
Job Summary:
Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Heber Springs Transfer Station. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating a front-end loader. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station.
What You’ll Do:
Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and mange solid waste at the transfer station
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation
Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols
Support team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations moving
What You Need to Bring:
2+ years experience operating excavators and front end loader
A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
