Your Opportunity: Taylor is looking for an Equipment Operator in our signs and graphics department.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
  • Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
  • Check paper for type, size, color and quantity
  • Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
  • Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment
  • Read and understand a job ticket to ensure the correct product is produced according to specifications
  • Manage workflow effectively to ensure deadlines are met
  • Operate multiple variations of presses and perform preventative maintenance
  • Set up and make the press ready
  • Visually inspect product throughout the run for quality checks, registration, ink coverage, and numbering sequence
  • Perform color calibrations and maintain consistent color output
  • Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy

Your Shift:

  • 1st Shift, Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm

You Must Have:

  • Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerance
  • High degree of mathematical skill and attention to detail
  • High degree of mechanical ability
  • Good reading ability

We Would Also Prefer:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to work with very close tolerances
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members
  • High degree of analytical skills
  • Good color discernment
