Your Opportunity: Taylor is looking for an Equipment Operator in our signs and graphics department.

Your Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
Check paper for type, size, color and quantity
Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment
Read and understand a job ticket to ensure the correct product is produced according to specifications
Manage workflow effectively to ensure deadlines are met
Operate multiple variations of presses and perform preventative maintenance
Set up and make the press ready
Visually inspect product throughout the run for quality checks, registration, ink coverage, and numbering sequence
Perform color calibrations and maintain consistent color output
Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy

Your Shift:

1st Shift, Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm

You Must Have:

Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerance
High degree of mathematical skill and attention to detail
High degree of mechanical ability
Good reading ability

We Would Also Prefer:

High School Diploma/GED
Ability to work with very close tolerances
Ability to effectively communicate with team members
High degree of analytical skills
Good color discernment
