Equipment Finance Representative I - Frisco, TX

This role will be based in our Frisco, TX office.

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Optimizes RM IV productivity by assisting in the sales process.  Enables RM IV to solicit, develop, and manage credit relations with new and current leasing customers within defined territories and products. 

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Customer Generation / Deal Closing

  • Support Team Leads in managing assigned territory.
  • Assists in identifying and qualifying prospects with limited guidance from Relationship Manager or Team Leads.
  • Create and maintain prospect profiles (including updates in CRM).  Accurately update CRM to ensure timely and correct reporting.
  • Draft initial deal screen / opportunity memos.
  • Create and submit RFP bid responses.
  • Advance opportunities through the sales cycle by inputting into Rapport system.
  • Collaborate with Documentation team to accurately prepare new transaction documentation.
  • Leverage Capital Markets team to mitigate risk, enhance return and manage exposure.

Existing Customer Servicing

  • Partner with Relationship Managers in sales and servicing, performing analytical tasks.
  • Interact directly with clients to conduct business development and enhance the relationship.
  • Conduct industry research on prospects and current customers.
  • Create and provide suggestions for client presentations.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to identify client solutions.
  • Obtain and input prospect KYC due diligence information.
  • Attend and participate in client presentations at Relationship Managers’ request.
  • Liaison with bank RMs and sister company EF RMs to develop customer strategy and implement customer solutions.

Pricing, Structuring & Reporting

  • Conduct initial pricing analysis and generate relationship pricing model.
  • Master and leverage SuperTrump pricing model to maximize value for customers and profitability for the business.
  • Analyze residual valuations by working with EMG team to create competitive lease products.
  • Construct scenario analysis in DPA RAROC system.
  • Develop reporting procedures that track and consolidate interim funding components.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting), MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related equipment finance, commercial banking, finance, accounting, or similar experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of financial and risk analysis.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending credit policies and guidelines.
  • Understanding of corporate business structure and legal documents.
  • Local / Regional market dynamics understanding is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated expertise of strong verbal and written communication skills, with emphasis on experience in face-to-face negotiations and group presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using effective problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software.
  • Travel required, long term flexibility in work location preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
  • Extended time at desk and/or viewing computer screen.
