Major Duties:

  • Assures all requirements for processing EEO Contacts, Pre-Complaint Counseling, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) requests relating to Pre-Complaints are processed in accordance with regulations and Agency Instruction.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and makes recommendations for changes and improvements. Performs statistical analyses for the annual EEO MD 715 Report to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
  • Makes determinations and drafts correspondences on acceptance/dismissal of complaints; ensures prompt, fair investigations; and performs sufficiency review of Reports of Investigation.
  • Assists in developing, coordinating, and implementing the DCAA Affirmative Employment Plans which further Agency EEO goals and objectives.
  • Serves as the Agency Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Manager.

Qualifications: You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement. Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience is defined as: education, or training involving the administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting advanced concepts, principles, and theories of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements; OR analyzing and processing discrimination complaints; OR coordinating requests for Reasonable Accommodations (Disability and/or Religious); OR assists in conducting EEO site visits or program reviews.
