Job Summary:
Supports the facilitation and development of technical training, inclusive of: assessment and content preparation, delivery and evaluation to meet the technical training needs of the organization. Maintains meaningful relationships with business operations, information technology, leadership, system users and vendors.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains knowledge of the Electronic Health Record (EHR), existing training curriculum, and service offerings. Facilitates training delivery and updates resources as directed.
- Learns the organization’s System Standard Epic Workflows (Standard Work Documents).
- Reviews training data and feedback and helps with modifications; supports team with assessment and evaluation analysis.
- Assists in training environment build and the coordination of training environment testing.
- Follows tasks as assigned in project plans while meeting milestones and timeframes; learns internal and system project processes.
- Uses existing procedures and resources to provide end-user support for basic functionality questions and escalates appropriately to training team members and manager.
- Utilizes technical training platforms and authoring tools (LMS, SharePoint, MS teams, Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, etc).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
