As a Lead Systems Analyst, you will manage and lead automated system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle, including design, development, implementation, modification, and evaluation. In this role, you will provide recommendations, support software evaluations, and oversee routine support activities while balancing team assignments and coaching staff. This position ensures solutions meet operational and business objectives, optimizes departmental resources, maintains strong relationships with IT stakeholders and other departments, and may include after-hours support.

A caregiver in this position works remotely Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m., with on-call responsibilities as needed for downtime and system upgrades.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Lead IT projects, including planning, obtaining customer input and projecting resource requirements. 

  • Review system requirements with customers and translate requirements into specific functions or deliverables. 

  • Analyze flow chart processes and recommend ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through use of technology. 

  • Plan, schedule and manage multiple projects requiring computer resources including project scheduling. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin or related field and six years of system implementation experience, including directing, planning and scheduling a major information system project 

  • OR High School Diploma / GED or equivalent and nine years of experience  

  • OR Associate’s Degree and seven years of experience 

  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date 

  • Understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts 

  • Understands principles of client/server configuration 

  • Excellent knowledge of messaging technology and project management skills 

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to workindependently 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Epic revenue cycle experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

  • In some locations, ability to move up to 20 lbs.
