Role

This leader will report into Semiconductor Product Group (SPG) Business Management and Customer Strategies Team and will work with existing customers, Account Teams, and BUs. They will drive and support financial and other business analytic activity, participate in the customer engagement strategy, strategy execution, create and present business documents, manage meeting activity and drive closure of follow up actions.  The role will have exposure to executive level corporate and Account Team Management and will require some travel (~10-25%).

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Delivery of market share strategy/execution, profitability and customer trust
  • Participate in the business strategy formation for overall Applied customer engagements as a member of SPG Business Management leadership team while focusing on epitaxy products. 
  • Supports internal and external collateral creation tied to the Exec strategy and objectives.  
  • Drives Acct Team and Customer focused alignment and communication throughout a project duration.  
  • Work within a team to respond and support the needs of Executive Level customer interactions. 
  • Partner with BU product marketing and BM to effectively communicate and execute program deliverables
  • Partner with the engineering team to sync business strategy with technical engagement status 
  • Report on customer projects status, financials, gaps, lessons learned and next steps.  
  • Escalation of issues to management
  • Organization development to scale the group to respond to the evolution of business  

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s \degree, ideally in a technical discipline  
  • 10+ years of related BD work experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening and questioning to really understand what customers need, and their alternatives. 
  • Fluent English language and experience communicating with people from different countries on the phone and in-person  
  • Business / Commercial savvy – understands and capable to guide direction on Corporate JDAs, IP, Purchase and Evaluation agreements.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
