The Opportunity:
CACI, Inc. is seeking a EOSOF Site Lead / Manager to provide Mission Essential support to the Satellite Control Network Tracking Station Operations Remote Site and Mission Partner (STORMS) contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct management oversite of the EOSOF Patch & Test (PTF) and Satellite Communications (SATCOM) work centers.
  • Oversees the operation and maintenance of telecommunications routers, switches and devices, and a complex configuration of multiple vendor products and systems.
  • Follows DISA processes and coordinating with multiple entities including DISA, change, installation and testing of networking systems and projects.
  • Oversees troubleshooting of telecommunications networks; coordinating outage resolutions with multiple distant end sites.
  • Performs “hands-on” training with subordinates; establishes and maintains training guidance documentation.
  • Oversees Wideband Global Satellite (WGS) Earth Terminal operations and maintenance.  Oversee and aid in troubleshooting, requirements satisfaction, data collection and interpretation. 
  • Follows DISA processes and coordinate with multiple entities including DISA and WGS Earth Terminal Depot on change, installation and testing of satellite communications systems and projects.
  • Oversees successful implementation of the WGS Earth Terminal Training Program.
  • Oversees completion of site compliance checklists.  Verify they answer all questions.  Complete the required follow-up actions, with an action plan and timeline.
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with the customer leadership (Squadron Commanders, Detachment Commanders, Contract Officer Representatives [CORs], other military or civil service leadership). 
  • Reviews and comments on engineering/configuration changes to systems.
  • Identifies the need for processes and process improvements to operations and maintenance activities.  Develops and reviews maintenance related instructions, procedures and policies for accuracy, relevance and completeness.
  • Verifies maintenance activities are properly scheduled, performed and documented via the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).  Coordinates authorized service interruptions with customers and AFSCN schedulers to perform PMIs. 
  • Coordinates, liaisons and represents “level 1” organizational maintenance and “level 2” depot maintenance activities; including PDMs, EDLMs and UDLMs and new projects. 
  • Reviews and comments on “minor modifications” to systems’ software, hardware and technical processes.  Reviews the plans for these modifications, and verify they are within technical capabilities of the team.  Verifies that documentation, tools and equipment necessary to execute the modification are available for the O&M technicians.  Reports findings to the site team, and shares information with the entire program through correspondence and at meetings.   
  • Verifies proper logistics support for the site’s maintenance activities, to include ready spares as allotted, proper tools and test equipment available, and parts ordering processes run fluidly on site and quickly respond to needs. 
  • Manages facility activities and maintenance, including coordination to resolve open facilities work orders
  • Oversee and assist in Security Admin role, to include processing visitor access requests and implementing site security standards.
  • On-Call support for after hours and weekend to restore operations.
  • Oversees inventories of spares, supplies, tools and equipment, and verifies proper and accurate updates to applicable inventory documentation.  


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Education:  Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
  • Experience:  7-10 years related work experience with
  • Managing/overseeing geographically separated Air Force/DoD contract operations, maintenance, and base operations functions
  • Satellite Control Network (SCN) knowledge
  • Interfacing with active-duty military and civil service personnel
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance
  • Technically competent

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$81,200 - 170,600 USD
