Job Description Summary:
Ensure the manufacturing facility operates in compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and company standards. Monitor, measure, document, and report environmental parameters to relevant authorities and stakeholders, and lead initiatives to prevent and mitigate environmental impacts from operations.
Job Desc :
1. Environmental Management System
Maintain and update the Environmental Management System in compliance with ISO 14001. Conduct life cycle assessments, environmental aspect and impact assessments, and other environmental monitoring programs.
2. Sustainability Initiatives
Monitor and track agreed sustainability and environmental initiatives for the plant site. Track water usage, energy consumption, and waste generation. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement improvement projects to meet sustainability goals such as:
3. Source vulnerability assessment
Carbon net zero vision Solar energy projects. Water management plan execution.
4. Wastewater & Process Water Management
Manage wastewater treatment system operations to meet local authority discharge quality requirements. Manage process water treatment to meet company specifications for production use.
5. Reporting & Metrics
Monitor environmental KPIs and prepare reports according to company standards (e.g., CPS Global, Tier Dashboard in KOSMOS). Support environmental program assessments (e.g., ergonomic evaluations related to environmental processes, rack inspections affecting environmental safety).
6. Legal Compliance
Manage environmental legal licenses and permits, ensuring compliance and timely renewals. Liaise with authorities, consultants, and experts regarding inspections, investigations, and new environmental requirements.
6. Training & Awareness
Conduct environmental awareness training for employees, contractors, and visitors. Organize environmental campaigns to promote sustainability culture within the plant.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. At least 2 years of relevant environmental or sustainability experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Fresh graduate with environmental or sustainability educational background are welcome to apply. Knowledge of ISO 14001, GMP, environmental regulations, and sustainability frameworks. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (verbal and written). Strong digital literacy in SAP, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Power Automate. Competence in project management, change management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
