The ESG Manager supports the implementation of the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance strategy. This role collaborates cross-functionally to manage ESG reporting, data governance, stakeholder communications and ratings/rankings in alignment with the ESG strategy.

They have strong project management skills and collaborate with a large number of internal stakeholders in order to create and maintain ESG reports and disclosures. They prepare responses to investor surveys and provide data to ESG rating and ranking agencies. They own data governance and data quality processes and tools and partner with internal teams to implement best practices in these areas. They maintain high-quality ESG data metrics and KPIs for disclosures. The ESG Manager facilitates ESG Core Team meetings and the ESG regulatory working group. Additionally, they support preparation for meetings with other stakeholders including the ESG Committee, Board of Directors, and stockholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

Strategy / goals

  • Track and report progress towards ESG goals
  • Maintain documentation related to ESG goals. Including goal definition, specific metrics, calculation methodologies, baseline info, etc.
  • Project manage goal owner meetings and timelines
  • Prepare presentations related to goal setting process and progress

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

  • Facilitate ESG Core Team and regulatory working group meetings
  • Support meeting and presentation preparation for ESG Committee, Board of Director and investor meetings
  • Partner with and provide content to internal and external communications teams

Reporting

  • Prepare voluntary ESG reports for external disclosures including proxy statement, Community Care Report (CCR), ESG reporting hub, SASB and TCFD.
  • Prepare regulatory ESG report including such as the EU CSRD
  • Prepare ESG content for SEC filings including proxy statement

Data Governance & Controls

  • Workiva ESG system owner and subject matter expert
  • Gather and synthesize numerous sources of data from multiple stakeholders.
  • Oversee the appropriate data reviews and verification for ESG metrics to ensure data quality.
  • Coordinate process improvements with risk, SOX, legal, financial reporting and other stakeholders
  • Provide support to assurance process

Investor Ratings / Rankings

  • Project manage completion of S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment
  • Provide data inputs for ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics and others as needed
  • Perform benchmarking and identify opportunities for improvement

Other duties as assigned.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $84,000.00 - $133,000.00 per year.
