Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service (MES) offers a 24-month Rotational Environmental Specialist Fellowship Program, designed to provide recent graduates and professionals with comprehensive exposure to MES operations. Fellows rotate through all four of MES’s operating groups Environmental Dredging and Restoration, Environmental Operations, Technical and Environmental Services and Water/Wastewater – spending three months in each area.Estimated Pay Range:
$45,666.23 - $62,791.65

Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Applicants who have not yet completed their degree requirements may apply but must provide proof of degree completion prior to the start of the Fellowship.
Possession of a valid driver's license in compliance with Maryland law, MES Fleet Policy, and other MES Policies.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with diverse professionals.
Flexibility and enthusiasm for learning about all aspects of MES.
