Job Summary
ERM is seeking a motivated Consultant to join our Liability Portfolio Management & Remediation (LPMR) team. This role involves contributing to land remediation projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and providing expert advice to clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental consulting and work on challenging projects.

Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct preliminary site investigations and detailed site assessments for contaminated land projects.
Develop and implement remediation strategies and plans for various contaminated sites.
Oversee and manage land remediation works, including subcontractor supervision and quality control.
Prepare comprehensive technical reports, including investigation reports, remediation action plans, and validation reports.
Perform risk assessments related to contaminated land and human health.
Liaise effectively with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
Provide technical advice and support on environmental regulations and best practices for land management.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
Proven experience in land remediation, including practical application of various remediation technologies.
Strong understanding of Australian environmental legislation and guidelines pertaining to contaminated land.
Demonstrated experience in conducting site investigations, sampling, and data interpretation.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., GIS, groundwater modelling tools).
Valid Australian driver's license.
Professional membership with a relevant industry body (e.g., EIANZ, IAH) is highly regarded.
