The Sustainability & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) function sits within the Flutter Group, with the key objectives of developing, evolving, and delivering an industry leading Positive Impact Plan (PIP), and setting the Group strategies and roadmaps for Safer Gambling, Environment, the Workplace and the Community – and for influencing the strategic direction of the Group’s two Divisions (US and International) as it relates to the PIP. The SRA is responsible for establishing the necessary governance, policies targets, tools and standards to ensure our ESG (risk and compliance), regulatory, and safe gambling matters are handled in a robust and agile manner.

As a Sustainability Analyst for the Environment at Flutter, you support the organisation’s sustainability strategy by handling environmental data, producing accurate emissions reporting, and generating insights to drive progress towards net zero. This role is central to ensuring reliable Scope 1, 2, and 3 data, monitoring environmental performance, and supporting regulatory and voluntary disclosures.

What you’ll do

  • Collect, validate, and consolidate environmental data across brands and divisions (including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions)
  • Support the preparation of regular reporting, including Board packs, CEO updates, and quarterly/half-yearly submissions
  • Produce insights and forecasts on qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy, action planning
  • Develop and maintain standardised templates and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of environmental reporting data
  • Maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and data sources
  • Contribute to platform and tool implementation
  • Produce regular emissions and performance reports for internal and external collaborators, including Board packs, ExCo updates
  • Monitor progress against net zero commitments and other sustainability targets, including identification and establishment of effective targets
  • Support rating agency submissions and alignment reporting frameworks (e.g. CDP, ISS, S&P CSA, SECR, ISSB, TCFD)
  • Analyse trends and hotspots in emissions data to identify reduction opportunities
  • Recommend improvements in environmental data collection and reporting processes
  • Support the development of energy consumption forecasting approaches/models  and provide insights to help inform net zero strategies and initiatives
  • Support horizon scanning, industry benchmarking and research on latest environmental trends and regulatory matters
  • Work with divisional and functional collaborators to gather inputs and share insights
  • Collaborate across sustainability, compliance, and Finance teams to ensure external reporting alignment
  • Support teams across the business to establish reporting processes 
  • Support divisions/brands to devise and implement environmental reduction action plans 
  • Assist with completing ad hoc insight and data requests for business and external team members

How you’ll do it

  • Experience working with environmental, carbon, or sustainability data or related fields
  • 2–3 years’ experience in an Analyst or similar data-focused role
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar)
  • Experience in performance reporting, financial analysis, or data assurance within a large organisation
  • Competence in scenario modelling and target tracking
  • Advanced Excel and data modelling skills; experience with data visualisation tools desirable
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to manage cyclical and ad hoc reporting
  • Passion for driving sustainable change in business
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
  • Adaptable and comfortable navigating change and uncertainty, with an appetite to learn new technologies and approaches
  • Strong time and deadline management
  • Knowledge of betting & gaming industry and environmental matters
  • Track record supporting/or producing work included within Executive and/or Board level reporting
  • Understanding of audit, assurance, and governance processes, and experience feeding into annual external sustainability reporting processes
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Understanding of emissions reporting standards and net zero principles desirable
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. data science, sustainability, environmental management) an advantage but not essential
