Enterprise Systems Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Systems team based in Bradford. This is a permanent hybrid position, working in the office at least two days a week.

We’re looking for a driven Business Analyst who will play a key role in translating business requirements into effective technical solutions. This position ensures seamless alignment between stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical and communication skills with a passion for driving operational efficiencies.

Our Enterprise Systems portfolio spans Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Capital Management (HCM), and related back-office functions such as tax, treasury, and procurement.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including project managers, developers, commercial teams, senior management, and external customers.

What will you be doing?

  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and lead requirements workshops.
  • Analyse processes, identify improvements, and design future-state workflows.
  • Support projects end-to-end, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist with change management, including training and adoption of new systems.
  • Coordinate and manage testing activities (system, integration, UAT).
  • Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases; manage defects.
  • Analyse data, create reports and dashboards, and present insights clearly.

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, resilient, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Skilled in leading meetings and workshops with an action-oriented approach.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Applications and key modules (Finance, SCM, HCM).
  • Familiarity with back-office systems such as procurement, tax, and treasury.

Desirable:

  • Business Analysis certification (e.g., BCS).
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Project management experience.
