Job Description
Rockwell Automation is looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Execution System focused Enterprise Software Solution Consultant (ESSC) - SEA to join our Sales team.
The Solution Consultant Role supports our Sales Teams by conducting Solution Discovery Interviews with prospective customers, and developing compelling, value-oriented presentations and demos of our products that align with the prospect’s required capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to RFIs and RFQs
Work with Enterprise Software sales representatives on sales strategies, plans and execution
Present qualitative and quantitative value of the proposed solutions
Create custom presentations and documents that clearly state customer business problems and MES solutions and benefits
Provide guidance to customers and implementers on ways to deploy proposed products including alternatives and their costs and benefits
Work with deployment teams (internal or partners) on deployment strategies and specific proposals as needed
Prepares technical materials, presentations, and tools to improve sales force effectiveness
Evaluates products and provides feedback on product features and performance
Understand and challenge the customer’s needs, analyze the gaps and propose solutions.
Prepare and execute demonstration of our systems.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and is a self-sufficient knowledge worker
Communicate and sell the value of RA MES solutions focused on the manufacturing Supply Chain.
Develop and perform technical software demonstrations specific to customer needs and concerns.
Perform discovery tasks to understand a prospect’s business and their key business concerns.
Assist the sales executive in relationship management, technical sales and sales tool development.
Support the sales process and address objections efficiently.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other Business or Technical Field
Overall 10+ years of experience in solution consulting/technical presales for manufacturing software
Solid understanding of industry specific applications, manufacturing principles and how to apply them.
Expertise in at least one of the following industries: Automotive, General Manufacturing, Food and Beverage.
Knowledge in one or more manufacturing applications such as:
MES, MOM, ERP, QMS
Knowledge in Manufacturing Operations with core tools such as:
MRP, Production Scheduling, Quality Management Systems, Inventory Control, Industrial Automation
5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing disciplines including Quality and Lean Principles, Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, and Production Reporting.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing environment.
ERP modules technical experience will be added advantage.
Fluent in speaking Thai and should be able to communicate in English with internal stakeholders
Additional SEA languages will be added advantage
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities.
Ability to interact positively with clients and internal departments.
A strong presence, business savvy, and exceptional presentation skills are a must.
Experience constructing/preparing presentation to address manufacturing company’s business needs.
Experience with Enterprise SaaS applications desired.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
