Enterprise Product Owner Associate

The Product Owner Associate supports the Data & Analytics department by communicating product vision, strategy and direction to the product development team and to the stakeholders.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting business priorities into product backlog and user stories to ensure development of the right product for our agents to support our members, while streamlining user experience, aligned with business goals and objectives.

The applications include POS, Lead Management and Service.

Note: The position is 100% remote, however, you must reside within 100 miles of radius of your housed location and require In person attendance, as needed (e.g., executive meetings, team meetings, team collaborations, etc).

What You’ll Do

  • Understand the product vision, high-level priorities and business goals from the Sr Product Owner
  • Work in tandem with the members of the product team and other product/component teams, to communicate product vision, strategy and priorities
  • Convert high-level business priorities and insights from user and usability tests into the product backlog, with creation of user stories and associated acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize the backlog and lead sprint ceremonies, especially sprint planning, refinement and sprint review; participate in daily standups and retrospectives
  • Facilitate iteration planning meetings and escalate risks and issues through team meetings, along with timely formal / and informal communication
  • Maintain an elevated level of skill and knowledge of product line and apply knowledge in daily responsibilities and tasks
  • Focal point to coordinate resolution of issues that my include cross-team collaboration, including communication of status, escalation with management to ensure timely delivery
  • Cultivate relationships with external vendors, partners and development team members
  • Produce and present executive and stakeholder presentations
  • Communicate user stories ready for testing and facilitate UAT meetings with business testers
  • Participate in release shakedown, as needed
  • Availability and participation with system outages to ensure business partners are not adversely impacted

What You’ll Need

  • Preferably experience and knowledge of Salesforce and / or five (5) or more years of business process experience or related experience
  • Experience facilitating brainstorming and planning sessions
  • Ability to translate business needs and priorities into product backlog and user stories, with acceptance criteria
  • Experience working with an agile development team
  • Experience with both sales and service lead management, along with knowledge of membership/insurance/branch/travel products and operations
  • Experience creating acceptance criteria, test cases and conducting UAT
  • Understand user interface / user experience (UI/UX) design and basic principles of usability
  • Member-centric / User-centric
  • Possess learning mindset

The starting pay range for this position is:

$120,500.00 - $160,800.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
