The Enterprise Portfolio Architect is a strategic leader who aligns solution designs and multi-year technology roadmaps to business objectives, investment priorities, and modernization goals.

You will provide architectural oversight across the portfolio—driving governance, business case rigor, and operational readiness—so delivered solutions are sustainable and consistent with enterprise standards.

We are progressive, offer flexibility, opportunities for growth, work life balance, competitive benefits, and generous time off.

What you will do

  • Define and maintain business-unit application and enterprise technology roadmaps, including technical debt remediation and modernization planning.

  • Lead application portfolio governance (rationalization, modernization/retirement decisions, and M&A due diligence support) and present recommendations through enterprise governance forums.

  • Own business case development and financial rigor, including lifecycle cost modeling and estimate creation/review through PMO stage gates.

  • Provide architectural oversight by reviewing solution designs, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring alignment to Enterprise Architecture standards and approved design patterns.

  • Drive operational readiness and transition to operations by validating TTO documentation, sustainment costs, support models, and closing operational capability gaps prior to deployment.

Who you are

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or a three-year technical diploma); Azure, TOGAF, or similar certifications are an asset.

  • You bring 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in architecture roles, with a track record delivering complex, large-scale solutions (energy sector experience preferred).

  • A strong portfolio planning and application lifecycle management expertise, linking roadmaps to business strategy and value realization.

  • You have broad technical depth across cloud, data & analytics, integration, security, DevOps, and agile delivery, and can make informed architectural trade-offs (e.g., Azure Cloud, Operational Technology, Data and Analytics, Power Platform,  .NET/Java & SQL).

  • You are a strong collaborator and influencer with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in matrixed, high-accountability environments.
