Why This Role Matters

 

Christie’s is looking for an experienced Enterprise Integration Technical Lead to join our technology organization and play a key role in delivering scalable, reliable, and secure integrations across the enterprise. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with strong Azure integration experience who enjoys working in complex environments and partnering closely with product and business stakeholders. 

 

You will work collaboratively within a cross functional team of engineers, product owners, architects, and delivery leads to design and deliver modern integration solutions that support Christie’s ongoing digital transformation. With your technical expertise, you will help set technical direction, manage delivery priorities, and ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, resilience, and security. 

 

You will be part of a highly experienced team using modern cloud technologies to help Christie’s continue to evolve as a digital leader in the art world. 

 

 

How You'll Make an Impact

 

  • Be responsible for the technical quality and delivery standards of the enterprise integration team.  

  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders on requirements gathering, solution design, and technical validation.  

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.  

  • Drive technical direction and best practices for API-led, event-driven, and message-based integration patterns.  

  • Ensure integration solutions meet non-functional requirements including scalability, reliability, performance, and security.  

  • Be hands-on in delivery, contributing code, reviewing designs, and supporting the team as a senior technical authority.  

  • Identify and drive continuous improvements across development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.  

  • Work alongside delivery and agile leads to ensure high-quality outcomes are delivered on time and within agreed constraints. 

  • Collaborate with Tier 1 and 2 application support teams to provide production support. 

 

 

What you’ll bring to the team

 

Technical 

  • Strong experience designing and building enterprise integration solutions in a cloud environment.  

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure integration services, including:  

o   Azure Functions 

o   Azure Service Bus (queues and topics) 

o   RESTful API design and integration 

o   API Management 

o   Azure Logic Apps 

  • Experience with event-driven, message-based, microservices, and serverless architectures.  

  • Solid understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, orchestration).  

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.  

  • Strong background in building secure, resilient, and observable systems in production.  

  • Development experience using modern languages and frameworks (e.g. .NET, C#, or equivalent). 

  • Experience with Power Platform is a plus. 

 

Working practices 

  • Working with a cross discipline team to ensure delivery of high quality products on time and on budget 

  • Leading a technical team, setting direction, getting deep into the code when needed and being looked upon as a senior authority in software development tasks, projects, etc.  

  • Lead level commercial experience managing a tech team through large-scale production builds  

  • Extensive experience working in cross vendor, remote working environments 

  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving with a clear view on value delivery (user and business) 

  • Helping design colleagues understand technical limitations from existing architecture and opportunities for improvement from new technologies 

  • Strong communication skills and client stakeholder management 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experience working with and running agile teams
