The Enterprise Change Readiness Director leads change execution across multiple enterprise value streams, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable adoption, readiness, and business value from ideation through outcome realization. This role embeds change capability within value streams, partnering with business leaders to drive fast, sustainable adoption of new capabilities.
The Director enables delivery flow by aligning readiness and adoption activities to value stream priorities, release cadences, and business outcomes. The role provides insights that connect change execution to value realization and financial impacts, supporting investment decisions, prioritization, and risk mitigation. As a senior leader, this role develops practitioners, manages managers, and ensures consistent application of enterprise change standards across complex, concurrent initiatives.
Leads and executes the changes management framework and operating model across one or more business units.
Responsible for facilitating the change journey and for aligning change activities which include business strategy, outcomes, KPIs, and financial expectations, advisor to leaders throughout the process.
Manages change practices by supporting end-to-end value delivery, beginning with intake and prioritization through launch, adoption, and stabilization.
Evaluates and coaches leaders and sponsors on accountability, on alignment, on addressing resistance, and with decision-making required to lead change effectively.
Partners closely with various teams and departments to ensure alignment, consistency, and shared learning across business units.
Serves as an escalation point for cross-value stream change risks, adoption challenges, and integration issues.
Leads and develops a team of change practitioners and contractor resources aligned to assigned initiatives and business units.
Contributes to evolving enterprise tools, methods, and capacity models based on real delivery needs.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Twelve (12) years of progressive experience in driving transformational change supporting multi‑year transformations with significant organizational, process, and technology change.
Five (5) or more years directly managing professional staff, required.
Proven ability to partner with senior leadership to influence adoption and resolve resistance is highly preferred.
Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience interpreting business and financial drivers and translating them into actionable change and readiness strategies across complex, cross‑functional environments highly preferred.
Experience coordinating readiness and adoption activities across business units highly preferred.
Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
