The Position

Enterprise Center of Excellence (eCoE) Team Member - PT OBC Finance Analyst & Data Owner

As a member of the eCoE you will bring leadership and a strong technical expertise together with the ability to work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy. You will be a catalyst for the  Finance transformation and work effectively as an influencer, and leaning in as coach and catalyst to the Finance network as needed. You have a passion to pilot new approaches and constructively challenge the status quo.  You can tolerate ambiguity.

The Position

As the Pharma Technical Operations (PT) Finance Analyst & Data Owner, you will be a core member of the PT OBC (Outcome-Based Community) FP&A squad, focusing on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and strategic value of Pharma Technical Operations (PT) financial data and management reporting. This role requires a dynamic blend of financial acumen, technical system ownership, and collaborative teamwork. You will act as the eCoE representative within PT and serve as a critical link to Group and Divisional stakeholders on matters impacting PT financial data architecture. Your mandate is defined by two key areas: System/Data Stewardship and FP&A/Operational Execution. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • System and Data Stewardship (FR@ME & Digital Products): Take full ownership of the FR@ME management reporting system and the associated FR@ME Data Products, acting as the primary administrator and functional owner; Drive the overall consolidation and management reporting process for PT financials, ensuring high-quality, robust data that forms the basis for insightful analytics and decision-making; Actively engage with stakeholders across PT, GRaPE, IT and the internal Digital networks to manage the transition of FR@ME to the future management reporting solution as part of the GRaPE program; Lead the coordination and provide hands-on support for global PT reporting and planning data throughout the Aspire go-lives

  • FP&A and Operational Execution: Actively contribute to various work packages driven by the FP&A squad, providing crucial support during key events, notably month-end closing and planning cycles; Partner with the PT Digital squad and other teams on work packages related to cost consolidation and cost of goods manufactured (CoGM), ensuring accurate foundational data; Proactively partner with all PT functions to understand their reporting needs and deliver high-value financial insights

Who you are:

  • A university degree in Finance/Accounting and or Data Sciences/IT/Engineering

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a multinational financial consolidation environment

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, especially in consolidation related to COGS and Inventory (prior experience within PT is an advantage)

  • Proven knowledge of financial reporting systems and data structures. Experience with SAP, FR@ME, TM1 and/or SAC is highly desirable

  • High digital fluency and a passion for data products, coupled with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of core finance processes and systems

  • Proven ability to translate complex data architecture into clear, actionable financial insights that directly influence business decisions

  • Capable of seamlessly shifting between detailed, granular system analysis and providing high-level perspectives for strategic context

  • Highly independent, entrepreneurial and outcomes-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic, squad-based environment and can navigate ambiguity

  • Exceptional team player who can drive outcomes through collaboration, effectively influencing decisions across cross-functional teams and technical networks

  • Strong time management and organisational skills, capable of delivering results reliably under tight timelines.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including professionalism when interacting with senior stakeholders

The role is located in Basel.

Global Grade - SE6. Final grading will be assessed on an individual basis.
