The opportunity

Join the IT BST for Grid Automation at Hitachi Energy as an Enterprise Architect. You will steer IT applications, data, technologies, and infrastructure to align with business strategy. As architectural authority, you'll drive collaboration across Grid Automation and Hitachi, support operational alignment, build EA capability, and shape the IT strategy for the business unit.

How you will make an impact:

  • Ensure that overall end-to-end enterprise architecture is fit for purpose
  • Accountable for developing, documenting and communicating enterprise architecture processes, tools and architectural standards
  • Accountable for defining and documenting architecture & strategy of distinct BU applications
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architect network across the organization to identify synergies
  • Ensure that the BU takes advantage of innovation and new technologies
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop the lifecycle roadmap for IT solutions and guide its implementation
  • Engaging with business and IT stakeholders to develop data architecture for the BU
  • Guide the relevant IT Solution Architects and project teams
  • Contribute to Hitachi Energy Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice

Your background:

  • Education as per role requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional working experience in IT relevant domains including 5+ experience in working in international and diverse organizations
  • Comprehensive understanding of business processes in at least one of the following domains: Product Management, Service, Electrical or Software Engineering
  • Good knowledge of TOGAF, L6S, and ITIL V3 and/or V4
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks, manage multiple concurrent topics
  • Highly organized with attention to details
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with remote team members across multiple time zones
