The Opportunity


•            Lead the development and integration of enterprise architectures and views (e.g., OV‑1, SV‑1) aligned to established frameworks and formats.
•            Own and maintain authoritative architecture products, network/topology diagrams, and repositories that guide enterprise decisions.
•            Partner closely with government IT leadership, Program Management Offices, and local IT teams to translate strategy into executable roadmaps.
•            Apply Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering tools (e.g., Cameo EA) to document, design, and validate complex system architectures.
•            Contribute in a mission‑focused, OCONUS environment with opportunities to influence multi‑domain IT outcomes.
Responsibilities


•            Develop, integrate, and keep current enterprise architecture artifacts and views (OV‑1, SV‑1, etc.) in accordance with directed frameworks and formats.
•            Create reference and objective architectures that enable secure, resilient, and interoperable services across networks.
•            Maintain network diagrams and architecture products in designated repositories; ensure configuration accuracy and change traceability.
•            Assess Service Component architectures and recommend improvements to IT service interactions and dependencies.
•            Use approved enterprise architecture and digital engineering tools (e.g., Cameo EA) to model, simulate, and validate solution designs.
•            Apply architecture principles across business, information, process, and technology layers to drive strategy execution and capability alignment.
•            Lead enterprise analysis, design, planning, and implementation efforts; translate strategic objectives into actionable architecture roadmaps.
•            Communicate clearly—presenting architecture products and ideas to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
•            Interface with client managers and system users to capture requirements, constraints, and operational needs for enterprise‑level solutions.
•            Ensure alignment with applicable standards, policies, and compliance requirements (e.g., DoD 8570 IASAE II) across architecture decisions.
•            Coach and guide technical team members; lead large or complex projects with minimal oversight.
•            Support an OCONUS operational tempo, including required travel, while adapting to changing mission priorities.

Qualifications

Required


•            Active, adjudicated TS/SCI clearance (able to maintain eligibility).
•            Education/experience: BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized OR AA/AS + 9 years OR major cert + 11 years OR 13 years recent specialized experience.
•            Recognized subject‑matter expert in Enterprise Architecture (tools, methods, artifacts, governance).
•            3+ years using digital engineering/MBSE tools such as Cameo EA.
•            DoD 8570 IASAE II compliance.
•            TESA eligibility for OCONUS assignment.
•            Ability to communicate and present complex architecture concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
•            Demonstrated success in dynamic, fast‑paced environments with cross‑functional teams.
•            Knowledge of MBSE principles to document, design, and validate complex system architectures.

Desired


•            TOGAF 9.x or related certifications.
•            ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
•            Hands‑on experience with enterprise architecture tools and repositories (in addition to Cameo EA).
•            Prior work within a DoD Combatant Command environment.
•            Understanding of DoD military standards and associated policies.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$99,300 - 208,600 USD
