Your day at NTT DATA
The Enterprise Agreement and Software Renewals Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise software agreements, including renewals, migrations to Enterprise Agreements (EAs), and adoption strategies. This role focuses on driving customer retention, recurring revenue growth, and maximizing lifecycle rebates by ensuring timely renewals, identifying EA opportunities, and collaborating with global internal teams and OEM partners to deliver seamless execution and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

Opportunity Identification & Qualification

  • Use tools and datasets (e.g., Cisco PXP, Cisco Commerce Workspace, SAP) to identify EA migration opportunities.

  • Review opportunities with sales stakeholders and track decisions in Salesforce (SFDC).

  • Qualify opportunities by obtaining client documentation and developing high-level sales strategies, including upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

Renewals Management

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer contracts and subscriptions, tracking renewal dates and terms.

  • Proactively engage customers ahead of renewal deadlines to discuss options, usage, and value delivered.

  • Prepare renewal quotes and negotiate terms including pricing, entitlements, and service levels

Proposal Development & Deal Support

  • Create EA proposals including pricing, TCO analysis, and pitch decks.

  • Manage deal registration and ensure SFDC updates.

  • Partner with global internal teams and OEM partners to align strategy and support for deal closure.

Lifecycle Adoption & Reporting

  • Drive client onboarding and adoption processes and monitor progress via NTT DATA and Vendor platforms.

  • Track lifecycle milestones and escalate gaps or delays to stakeholders.

  • Report on lifecycle rebate performance and incorporate lifecycle metrics into renewal strategies.

Skills, Experience, and Education:

Technical Knowledge:

  •  Expertise in OEM partner software portfolios and EA models.

  • Familiarity with subscription-based offerings and ROI/TCO analysis.

Sales & Business Acumen:

  • Strong negotiation and executive-level communication skills.

  • Experience in complex deal structuring and value-based selling.

Collaboration:

  • Proven ability to work effectively with global internal teams and external OEM partners across regions and functions.

Education, Tools, & Certifications:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • OEM partner certifications (e.g., Cisco Sales Expert, CCNA) preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology/systems or sales or a related field.

Required Experience:

  • 8–10 years in IT solution sales or renewals; 5+ years in software/subscription lifecycle management.

  • Strong track record of cross-functional and global collaboration.

  • Advanced Sales and/or Technology experience (Managed IT Services, Systems Integration, Hosting, Subscription Software Services, IT Management).

  • Advanced experience and success in solution-based selling, preferably related to specific domain (GTM) related software and products.

  • High degree of related experience in account and/or client management.
