Enrollment Senior Marketing Coordinator (maternity leave cover)

Job Description:


Under the general/functional supervision of the Director of Senior Director of Operations and External Affairs in Valencia and the Senior Director of Enrollment Marketing in Boston, the Senior Marketing Coordinator is a temporary full-time position (maternity leave cover, (approximately 6-8 months) that carries out the daily operations of marketing content development and distribution.  


The Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of the marketing and communication plans that help generate, nurture, accept, and yield applicants for all academic programs on the Valencia campus (graduate, undergraduate, and summer programs).


This person needs current knowledge of content in admissions and marketing communications and reports on the effectiveness of outreach campaigns and customer behavior. The general areas of focus for this position include paid social media, paid search, website content management, email marketing, and admissions communications support for our graduate, undergraduate, and summer programs, and for potential programs that will be added to our portfolio, as well as generally managing marketing operations. This role is also responsible for marketing reports and tracking marketing initiatives.


The Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for completing a variety of initiatives on time. As part of a team of innovative and accomplished marketers, the Senior Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with other marketing leads across enrollment divisions, executing the College’s enrollment vision for Valencia programs, ensuring Valencia programs are well-positioned in the planning for college-wide marketing initiatives, and supporting cross-divisional visibility within Valencia programs outreach wherever possible. This person will work closely with operations and academic program directors to deliver multifaceted communication plans supporting Valencia programs. This person is also responsible for ensuring the implementation of strategic marketing decisions that make an impact on the development of the Valencia campus and future programs.

Some of the primary duties include: 


General Marketing

  • Work collaboratively with the MarCom Director (Valencia), Senior Marketing Cordinator, and the Communications Department (Valencia) to execute marketing plans.

  • Manage the Berklee Valencia Enrollment marketing budget for Valencia campus programs. 

  • Manage third-party vendor relationships for paid search, advertising, and web for Berklee Valencia.

  • Analysis of enrollment data, marketing automation stats, database management, and other data touchpoints that pertain to enrollment

  • Manage and collaborate with internal and external marketing collaborations, partnerships, and sponsorships

  • Represent Berklee Valencia in Marketing meetings with Boston 



Recruitment Marketing

  • Manage creative and strategy for paid social (Meta) development and Google: execution and analysis in collaboration with the paid social responsible and the Communications department in Valencia and Boston


Tracking and Analytics 

  • Responsible for marketing analytics and tracking of Valencia marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Enrollment Marketing Analytics team in Boston.

  • Responsible for ensuring that Valencia has the marketing tracking reports (Tableau, Salesforce) to make marketing-informed decisions that align with our enrollment goals.


Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Admissions Communications (under the supervision of the Admissions Department and with the support of the Enrollment Marketing Team in Boston)..

  • Work closely with the marketing automation team to create compelling email campaigns, engagement programs, and landing pages

  • Create content and write emails coordinating with appropriate parties to ensure the accuracy of content for inquiries, applicants, and students for all program categories: graduate, undergraduate, and summer programs.

  • Ensure communications are delivered to and received by each applicant


Website Projects 

  • Define and manage the execution of the campus web strategy and general management of valencia.berklee.edu.

  • Manage design and development process for new sections/elements of the website, new usability proposals, and back-end improvement.

  • Manage content development and content management for all program content.

  • Manage definition and coordination of content management of homepage elements, highlights, news, events, and other communications-related sections of the website.

  • Management and coordination of SEO in collaboration with external providers. 

  • Manage the relationship with the hosting provider.

  • Assist in coordinating content managers for all program and not-program content.

  • Collaborate with relevant teams and create reports and analyze performance KPIs.



Project Management 

  • Management of stakeholders to see project to the end i.e. faculty, departments, colleagues etc


Other duties as assigned.



Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or enrollment marketing.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and competing deadlines.

  • Experience managing budgets and media agencies.

  • Strong digital marketing skills, including familiarity with SEO, paid media, CRM, and analytics platforms.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Tableau, and content management systems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.


Ideal Candidate:

  • A strategic thinker and strong executor.

  • Able to manage high-level priorities with minimal oversight.

  • Experience in higher education or the creative industries preferred.

  • Strong command of both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
