Job Description:

Summary:

The Enrollment Marketing Coordinator is part of the Office of Graduate & Processional Studies (OGPS) marketing team and reports to the Associate Director of Digital Marketing, OGPS. This position serves in a supporting project management role and is a back-up lead point of contact with campus partners including the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Communication, the School of Education and other administrative units to plan, collaborate and execute tactics, operations and digital media campaigns supporting the institution's graduate enrollment marketing goals. This position is junior-level, campaign and project leader and liaison between units. Work will center on delivering accurate and on-schedule campaign activations, implementation, project management and brand adherence, within the shared services model. Coordination with writers/editors, designers, production staff, videographers, photographers, web professionals and related vendors will be required to successfully perform in this role.

In the project manager part of this role, the incumbent will facilitate in-house project collaborations, within the OGPS team and across schools. The Enrollment Marketing Coordinator, OGPS will serve as liaison to key school and unit stakeholders for web and digital platform integrations with vendor and agency partners.

 

Essential Functions:

1.) OGPS Marketing Operations

  • Guide projects from inception through delivery. Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify potential risks. Develop strong relationships with school and college marketing stakeholders as well as third-party affiliate partners and agency vendors. Provide guidance to vendors and staff on adherence to brand alignment while moving the work forward. Utilize data to make recommendations for appropriate adjustments to graduate enrollment marketing plans.

2.) Social Media

  • The Enrollment Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with colleagues within the department and across partnerships to conceptualize social media content; ensure that content uses best practices; ensure strategy and audience alignment and follow graduate brand and institutional creative style guidelines. Incumbent will serve as an account administrator for OGPS social media platforms.

3.) Campaign Analytics

  • Evaluates graduate marketing partnerships on a yearly basis, reporting performance and optimizing for efficiency. Works with Digital Marketing Specialist to collaborate on developing a sustainable DAM system for assets, assigning file names, obtaining approvals, production of deliverables.

 4.) Other Duties

Salary Range:

  • $31.77 - $32.97 per hour.
     

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience; 2+ years of experience in an ad agency, the admissions department of a higher education institution, ed tech or equivalent in training and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Skill using Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and (intermediate to advanced) Excel to track performance, data and creative assets.

  • Ability to provide high levels of customer service and exercise tact and diplomacy while interacting with university staff and peers on sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Ability to interact with staff, faculty and other members of the university community in a consistently courteous and respectful manner, with an awareness of diverse perspectives and a commitment to inclusivity.

  • Familiarity with CRM software applications and familiarity.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop productive working relationships with multiple constituencies.

  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing with a proficiency using Google Analytics and paid social media.

  • Comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to be flexible, agile and quick to adapt.

  • Curiosity about new ways to improve our digital channels’ productivity and business processes.

  • Must be a team player and exhibit initiative and forward-thinking skills.
