About the Role:

The Product Engineer serves as the primary product expert for ATCB Final Test, supporting ATCB objectives in Quality, Output, and Cost. This role ensures that products meet specifications and performance requirements, drives yield improvements, analyzes test data, and represents Product Engineering in cross-functional initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the technical engineering resource for ATCB Assembly Test Product Engineering.

  • Analyze final test performance (yield, OCAPs) to identify defect trends and quality issues.

  • Escalate critical or chronic fab issues impacting test yields or hold lots.

  • Collaborate with Process Engineering on assembly-related defect trends or special cases.

  • Drive process streamlining and yield improvement for assigned package platforms.

  • Review and approve new package, materials, process, or changes throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Apply statistical methods (PAT, SYL, SBL) to detect and prevent maverick lots.

  • Reduce test hold lots and improve test throughput (TPT).

  • Align with BG Product Engineering on lots with test-detected fab and parametric issues.

  • Continuously enhance Product Risk Assessment and Escalation Tools.

  • Represent Product Engineering in project/product qualification, change qualification, and cross-functional meetings (MEEQ, MCT, MOOI, LOH, Operations, Quality, BG calls).

  • Lead quality initiatives and support site standardization projects.

  • Supervise and train Product and Test technicians.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably ECE, EE, or COE).

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in IC or PMOS Semiconductor Testing Process (Assembly Process experience is a plus).

  • Experience managing or mentoring people in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience collaborating with global counterparts across different time zones.

  • Knowledge of Semiconductor Testing & Process

  • Strong Data Analytics and Yield Management skills

  • Skilled in Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis using statistical tools

  • Project management and documentation skills are a plus.

  • Familiarity with ATE usage, test program coding, and debugging is a plus.
