ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Finite element analysis (FEA) to perform structural and acoustic analysis of new golf design concepts.
  • Independently create and iterate CAD models at different stages of the development phase (optimization setup, prototype validation).
  • Use preprocessor FEA software to generate 3D mesh and morphs to support optimization methods and
  • Python scripting to improve efficiency and consistency in analysis setup and post-processing, working closely with responsible analysis and development teams.

  • Coordinate prototype builds using internal capabilities, external suppliers, or a combination of both.
  • Plan, organize, and support physical testing to evaluate performance, durability, and conformance to design intent.
  • Work within company systems for documentation, communication, and work routing.
  • Write reports and present project findings, status, and timelines in project reviews.
  • Organize physical prototypes via external suppliers, internal prototype capabilities, or by combining both.
  • Act as a technical liaison with external suppliers, internal prototype labs, and internal testing labs.
  • Organize the physical measurement and testing of prototypes and samples for verification of performance, durability, and conformance.

Other responsibilities may include :

  • Travel as required to supply base, trade shows, both domestically and abroad.
  • Provide occasional hands-on support for bonding, assembly, or molding of golf components as needed to support prototype development and learning objectives.
  • Submit patent applications to internal legal department to protect Intellectual Property that may be generated.
