Work Arrangement​ :This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

What You'll Do

  • Learn GM Global DME Standards for Dimensional plan generation.
  • Analyze the input required for a project
  • Develop Dimensional plans for Stampings, Assemblies, Ploymer /plastic parts on the dimensional process thread as per standardized process using Tool Unigraphics, Polyworks & Team Center.
  • Perform Quality check of completed files
  • Complete required deliverables & ship to respective GM plant.
  • Support the plant with the EWO change requests
  • Flawless communication within team for project support & updates
  • Generate Improvement ideas for supporting organization’s productivity
  • Support in Training New Engineers to develop their technical skills.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Industrial Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Basic Manufacturing Process and concept
  • Automotive Vehicle / Body-In-white processes and product launch.
  • Unigraphics (NX), Polyworks, Teamcenter preferable)automation/basic python/data analytics and Power BI knowledge (preferable)
  • Automotive Body In White Structure and Build Process.
  • Checking fixtures, Measuring gauges, CMM, scanning technology
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
