SUMMARY: The Engineering Technician provides essential support to engineers and technical teams in various areas of production and engineering jobs. It includes providing day-to-day support to production, identifying and testing solutions to solve technical problems, assisting the engineering team as part of continuous improvement, testing and inspecting units/products validated as new products by transfers or new developments and data collection
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare and review technical documentation and drawings under the supervision of engineers. • Follow-up of new processes and transfers for yield control and application of continuous improvement. • Perform tests and FAIs on engineering sample equipment or prototype racks and record the results. • Assist in the resolution of technical problems and in the maintenance of equipment. • Interpret manuals, hydraulic and electrical plans. • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to repair and/or maintain equipment, fixtures, or tools. • Inspect and measure parts to detect wear and tear on equipment (pressure pumps, paint guns, pressure containers, as well as the maintenance of fixtures, racks or tools). • Coordination for the installation of new equipment • Coordination for engineering runs for new products or transfers. • Responsible for complying with and applying the Policies of ISO 13485, 14001 and 50001.
