An Engineering Technician II job is available with the City of Fort Worth Development Services X Team. The Development Services X Team is responsible for expedited plan review for all types of building permits. This includes performing a variety of technical duties in reviewing, approving and processing building applications with the outside development community and internal City departments through the full development process. We are seeking a highly energetic individual who understands water/wastewater design and can operate in a fast-paced environment. Staff is also encouraged to explore innovative alternative solutions to address development issues and serve our customers. While the work is technical in nature, there is a strong focus on customer service, communication and accountability. If you have the ability to work effectively with co-workers and a broad spectrum of customers to meet scheduled deadlines then this would be a perfect position for you.
