RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Lead the technical management of the stainless-steel valve product line, including sanitary butterfly valves, ball valves, balancing valves, control valves, and valves used in liquid-cooling systems.
2. Supervise and mentor valve design engineers; assign tasks, review designs, and enhance team capabilities.
3. Drive new product development (NPD/NPI), including design input definition, design reviews, prototype builds, validation testing (DVP), reliability analysis, and mass-production readiness.
4. Oversee structural analysis for key components—valve body, seat, stem, seals—including strength checks, flow resistance, torque calculation, and material compatibility to meet relevant standards (GB, ISO, ASME, API).
5. Manage and maintain all technical documentation: BOM, engineering drawings, specifications, ECNs, inspection standards, and process requirements.
6. Lead VAVE and cost-optimization projects, including material substitution, structural refinement, and process optimization.
7. Support supplier development for castings, forgings, machining, and welding components; participate in supplier audits and sample validation.
8. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production quality issues and customer technical problems; provide support to pre-sales and after-sales teams.
9. Monitor industry trends and contribute to the product roadmap for sanitary and liquid-cooling valve applications.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Machinery, Process Equipment, or related fields.
MANAGEMENT:
A dedicated engineer will report to this role and the role holder will report directly to R&D Manager

1. Minimum 5 years of valve design experience, with at least 2 years in team leadership or technical lead roles.
2. Strong knowledge of stainless-steel valve design and related manufacturing processes (casting, forging, precision machining, welding, polishing).
3. Familiar with butterfly, ball, and balancing valve structures and sealing technologies across applications such as liquid cooling (data centers), sanitary systems, HVAC, and water treatment.
4. Proficient in Inventor or similar 3D CAD tools; experience with FEA/CFD analysis is a plus.
5. Strong understanding of industry standards including GB, ASME, API, ISO, DIN, etc.
6. Solid capability in structural analysis, torque calculation, sealing design, material selection, and DVP validation.
7 Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project-management skills.
8 English reading proficiency; experience working with multinational teams is a plus.
