Engineering Program Manager

Description -

We are looking for a dynamic Program Manager who thrives on leading cross‑functional programs, shaping program strategy, and driving innovation. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless progress, resolve challenges, and uphold program compliance. You will also play a critical role in identifying improvement opportunities and championing changes that elevate our products, processes, and operational efficiency.



Responsibilities

  • Manages and leads key programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for multiple products or service offerings for a Global Business Unit.

  • Directs the development of overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements for the Global Business Unit.

  • Manages activities of supporting program teams and internal and external development partners; ensures alignment with unit strategy and owns responsibility for overall program profit and loss management.

  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with business unit management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program costs.

  • Monitors and enforces project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors.

  • Works with engineering project managers, product design, operations, to identify and resolve the risks associated with early builds.

  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing engineering organization.

  • Reviews and evaluates program plans and guidelines for compliance with program management guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve overall program management quality and results for the organization.

  • Coordinates with management to ensure proper procedural compliance, maintenance, and safety practices are followed for new and existing equipment.

  • Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline

  • 10+ years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, .

The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
