CRD Engineering organization is innovating and transforming the platform by moving away from monolithic software to utilizing next generation cloud-based technology that leverages Microsoft Azure, Kafka, Snowflake, etc.

This job is a hybrid role with at 3 days in the office per week, which you can perform from our offices in Krakow and Gdansk.

As the Engineering Operations Team Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, overseeing, and supporting internal processes that facilitate the software engineering organization.
  • Serving as the primary contact for administrative processes such as hiring, contractor management, and headcount reporting within the Software Engineering organization.
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across various levels, regions, and teams on both regular and ad-hoc processes.
  • Creating and generating regular reports and metrics on all aspects of the employee life cycle, ranging from recruitment to offboarding.
  • Assisting or leading ad-hoc initiatives that support the managers within the engineering organization.
  • Managing small team of SMEs including performance evaluations, goals setting and other team mgmt. activities

Desired skills and competencies:

  • 5-10 years of experience within an IT/Financial organization.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing a team
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) is required, with a Master’s degree being strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience in working with global teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of PowerQuery and/or PowerBI.
  • Experience with process improvements or automation.

Minimum Salary:

zł182 004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
