We are looking for a motivated and creative candidate to lead our Aftermarket Engineering team. As the Engineering Manager, you will lead the development and execution of our Aftermarket processes. The Engineering Manager will have responsibilities for leading a team of engineers and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Research and formulate plans to accomplish major projects, including manpower estimates, cost estimates, and work measuring devices such as milestones or critical path charts.
  • Monitor progress of major projects and make recommendations when needed including acquisition of capital equipment
  • Develop proposals for improvements
  • Support cost estimate activities for both new and existing programs using data driven analysis
  • Research and make recommendations on make or buy products
  • Understand current safety and OSHA requirements pertaining to maintenance operations and incorporate ergonomics into safety, productivity, and performance
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize work to meet established deadlines
  • Manage and direct a team, including but not limited to R & M Engineers, Configuration Analysts, Technical Leads, and Technicians, focused on Service BOM, Level of repair analysis, Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis, Troubleshooting and maintenance work package development, and technical manual validation
  • Develop, implement, and achieve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency standards ensuring continuously improving operations
  • Provide status reporting on safety, budget, staffing, volume, and performance measures to ensure effective communication and analysis
  • Play an active role in long range financial forecasting, specifically around planning the resource needs of the team
  • Always promote a healthy and high morale work environment
  • Engage, motivate, and inspire others through trust, creditability, and collaboration
  • Other duties, as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • 7-10 years of Reliability and Maintainability, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years minimum leading a Team of direct reports
  • Heavy industrial or automotive industry experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in capacity/resource planning and project-based quoting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in value-stream mapping, problem solving, and process improvement
  • Demonstrated experience leading medium and large-scale operations based on lean principles
  • Demonstrated proficiency in lean based process design and working with complex data sets

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • CDRL (Contract data requirement list) development and submissions, MIL-standards, Government contracts (preferred)
  • PowerlogJ, Microsoft Access, JD Edwards MRP System, or other database or data mining softwares (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Compass (used for LORA) and WRR (Windchill Risk and Reliability) (preferred)
  • Previous experience with Catia, Creo, and Windchill is preferred

Pay Range:

$91,800.00 - $153,200.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
