Job Title: Technical Engineering Manager

Location: Bangalore
Experience: 20 to 25 years

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Engineering Manager to drive engineering quality, architectural integrity, and technical excellence across enterprise-scale applications. This role focuses on technical stewardship, guiding engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. The ideal candidate will act as a technical authority, enabling teams through best practices, design reviews, and performance optimization—without formal people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Quality & Architecture

  • Enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles for .NET-based applications.
  • Review and validate system designs implementation for scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Drive adoption of modern development practices (microservices, containerization, DevOps).

Technical Leadership

  • Act as a subject matter expert to the teams for architecture and integration strategies using Microsoft stack (.NET, SQL Server, Azure).
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams.
  • Champion CI/CD, automation, and observability frameworks for proactive issue detection.

Performance & Optimization

  • Collaborate with teams in capacity planning, performance tuning, and reliability engineering for Azure-hosted applications.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide resolution strategies.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering Manager, architects, product managers, and infrastructure teams and the Engineering Teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Communicate design decisions and trade-offs to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in system engineering, architecture, and integration within enterprise environments.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems using Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server, Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Certifications such as Cloud Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR, DPDP 2025).
