Job Summary
• This role is responsible for providing direct leadership to a team of engineers engaged in designing and developing engineering solution. The role manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects for Ink Supplies Business, and ensures effective resource allocation and alignment with program and organizational roadmaps. The role provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. The role identifies and deliver cost reduction opportunities, and utilizes expertise in the industry to address common and complex business and technical challenges within established policies.

Responsibilities
• Leads Ink Supplies packaging and process strategy globally, driving efficiencies, cost savings and enhanced customer experience.

•Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and developing engineering solutions and coordinating projects.
• Work closely with cross functional teams in various Business units, including R&D, factory, PCCs, Quality assurance, MPa's, Marketing, SPC&SI, Procurement, Suppliers and NPI Program management teams.
• Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners.
• Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources.
• Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.
• Applies expert subject matter knowledge of the industry to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies, and how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives.
• Provides people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 2-3 years of management experience, preferably in engineering design and solutions.

Experience working in multinational environments and managing global team is highly desirable.
