  • Strong Technical expertise of all Standard & Advanced Electronic & Electro-Mechanical Components and working with Firmware teams
  • Strong understanding of Component Life Cycle Status and related business impacts and risk mitigations
  • Ability to understand Application requirements and suggest suitable Component solutions.
  • Strong Analog and Digital Hardware Engineering background to understand the application and circuit needs.
  • Ability to suggest better/optimized component solutions with a detailed Specification comparison study.
  • Knowledge of broader Component Engineering process and Component Change Management process
  • Thorough working experience of Component Engineering Tools like PDM, PLM
  • Embedded HW design requirements understanding, Systems requirement decomposition, Firmware and interpretation skills
  • Analog/Digital interfacing and Power supply design with hands on exposure
  • Understanding of hardware product development life cycle
  • Understanding product validation environment, DVPR, reliability, COPQ and able to map the design requirements as per the same
  • Converting the product hardware architecture into full-fledge circuit design worthy of validation
  • Review Alternate Components with actual application based on schematics and come up with feasibility study
  • Study existing Schematic & Hardware requirement for optimizing Components and Component cost
  • Value Assessment and Value Engineering (VAVE) Proficiency with prior work experience
  • Ability to collaborate and interact with cross functional teams like Engineering, Purchasing, Supply-Chain, etc. to accomplish objectives.
