The Opportunity


Are you a person who thrives in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities? We are now looking for a solution- and action-oriented Engineering Manager who wants to lead and develop a team of engineers specialized in mechanical construction.
 

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for an international team of engineers based in both Ludvika and India and will collaborate globally with a wide range of stakeholders. The position offers the opportunity to work across functions and geographies, contributing to a growing and future-oriented organization.
 

You will play a key role in leading the team forward, supporting collaboration, and contributing to a strong team culture. Attracting, recruiting, and retaining talent will be an important part of your responsibility and a key success factor for the department’s continued development.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Lead, coordinate, and develop the department to ensure projects progress in a structured, transparent, and sustainable way
  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline targets are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer and business needs
  • Mentor and support team members, contributing to their long-term development and well-being

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Experience in leading and developing teams, preferably within technology or mechanical construction field
  • Change management experience—driving adoption of new ways of working and continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and engagement
  • A people-oriented mindset that values teamwork and collaboration
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams
  • Fluent in both English and Swedish
