Mission Statement:
Lead manufacture technology department to execute technology support activities including turbocharger product technology & component manufacturing technology & process equipment technology support for product manufacture and delivery.
Main Accountabilities:
- Product technology Technical support for the localization of the Turbocharger complete and its components Daily support for Turbocharger assembly Review component deviation report and make usage decisions Interpretation of component functions and technical requirements, supporting technical analysis of quality issues Responsible for product data replication from CHTUC to CNTUS SAP system weekly Responsible for CNTUS SAP MM module Power User administrator
- Component manufacturing technology Responsible for conducting preliminary research for component localization, and providing corresponding information and data for manufacturing cost estimation Responsible for the design of manufacturing processes, fixtures, CNC machining programs, and machining tools Responsible for the trial manufacture of component samples Support process route adjustments due to uneven equipment capacity loading
- Process equipment technology Evaluate equipment manufacture capabilities and work out equipment upgrades or investment proposal From the perspective of equipment technology, responsible for equipment selection and evaluating equipment technology solutions
- Department management Manage manufacturing technology department (more than 10 Engineers), allocate tasks, conduct performance reviews, and foster cross-departmental collaboration Enhance teambuilding including team structure reshaping, key competence setup Care and transfer knowledge and capability on the technical team aiming for the young and new team comers Others Support activities related to technology support Complete other tasks which are assigned by line manager
Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience: At least 8 years of technical experience in mechanical manufacturing, and at least 3 years of team management experience Familiar with the working principle of turbocharger, familiar with the production process and mechanical processing of turbocharger parts; Proficient in CNC machining and the application of CNC equipment
- Language: CET-4 or above, with good written and spoken skills in both Chinese and English
- Software: Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint etc. Familiar with 3D engineering software, such as CATIA Core Competencies:
- Core Competencies: Team Leadership: Experience in cross-functional collaboration and team motivation. Risk Identification: Ability to analyze data and predict technical risks, with problem-solving skills.
