We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to lead and develop a high‑performing engineering team within a fast‑paced, regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for engineering leadership across safety, quality, people development, and process performance, while providing strong technical support to Operations, Quality, and Validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a Safety First culture, ensuring compliant and safe working practices.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the engineering team through clear objectives, performance reviews, and capability development.
  • Champion structured, data‑driven problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure engineering compliance with quality systems, training requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Own engineering non‑conformances, failure investigations, change management, and customer complaints.
  • Drive productivity, waste reduction, and equipment reliability through effective maintenance, calibration, and spares programmes.
  • Provide technical leadership to support operational performance, new product introductions, and technical transfers.
  • Support automation, capital projects, and design‑for‑manufacture initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 10+ years’ process engineering experience, including 5+ years leading teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with new product introduction, technical transfers, and high‑speed automation.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a compliance‑driven environment.
  • Project management experience is beneficial.
