What you’ll be doing
We’re looking for an Engineering Coordinator – Design Controls to support our Engineering Design Management team. You’ll strengthen how we plan, track and control design activities across a busy and varied project portfolio. Working with Planners and Engineering teams, you’ll analyse programme data, provide clear insights and help keep design delivery on track.
Key responsibilities:
Plan and sequence design activities, using P6 to track progress and identify critical path impacts.
Integrate design activities into project programmes and review supplier schedules.
Produce clear progress, milestone and look‑ahead reports and support forecasting and Earned Value Analysis.
Monitor design resource demand and highlight emerging pinch points.
Ensure design outputs meet governance, stage‑gate and safety requirements.
Promote safe design practices and support continuous SHEQ improvement.
What you’ll bring
Engineering background (degree or equivalent) with experience in design delivery or engineering projects.
Strong programme/schedule management skills with knowledge of WBS, critical path analysis and EVA; P6 experience preferred.
Understanding of design governance, stage‑gates, risk management and change control.
Ability to interpret drawings/technical information with strong analytical and reporting skills.
Confident using M365 tools (PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
