Reporting to the Executive Director – Engineering and Infrastructure, the Director - Engineering and Infrastructure is responsible for providing innovative technical and strategic leadership to projects within the Capital Facilities and Engineering Department. Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance related to OSHA, TJC, DPH and City of Boston and other relevant regulatory agencies. Responsible for supporting the development and management of an annual budget and capital plan for reporting departments.Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering from a college or university accredited by ABET required.
2. 8-10 years related work experience required in Facilities Engineering, including design, construction and/or operations and 8-10 years supervisory/management experience required
3. Must have knowledge and skills relating to computer software and management tools such as Computer Aided Drafting software, Computer Aided Facilities Management software, e.g. MAXIMO and Building Automation Systems.
4. Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering. Strong comprehension of laws, regulations, rules, statues and codes pertaining to design and construction of TJC accredited healthcare facilities. Demonstrated understanding of power, energy management and utility systems. Working knowledge of health care operations and hospital physical plant as well as federal, state, and local permitting regulations for health care facilities.

Pay Range:
$130,000.00 USD - $187,200.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
