Summary
AV is seeking an Engineering and Architecture Lead to support a high-priority intelligence program. In this role, the successful candidate will have extensive experience in architecture and engineering and associated IC workflows, systems, process, and technical design. Experience and training in cloud technology, data visualization and aggregation, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning is highly desirable.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree Cloud Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Cyber Security.
Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in architecture and engineering experience in the IC.
AWS Certification or equivalent in cloud technology.
Three (3) years’ experience using AWS to deliver technical solutions.
Experience with the targeting ecosystem.
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
Master’s degree in the above listed disciplines.
Demonstrated experience designing and documenting information systems in DoDAF architecture models and views.
Experience with data visualization, aggregation, and reporting tools such as: PowerBI and Tableau.
Experience with relational data bases (e.g. Oracle) and NoSQL data solutions and other query languages.
Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Ten (10) years’ experience working in the IC.
Salary Range
$150,000 to $180,000
The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction. Please understand that any job offer that requires approval of an export license will be conditional on AeroVironment’s determination that it will be able to obtain an export license in a time frame consistent with AeroVironment’s business requirements. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
