Job Description

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Lead N&V Projects:
    Plan, execute, and analyze Noise & Vibration (N&V) tests on vehicles, subsystems, and components.

  • Identify and Resolve N&V Issues:
    Use data analysis and problem‑solving techniques to diagnose root causes of noise and vibration concerns.

  • Develop Technical Solutions:
    Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, propose, and implement N&V improvements.

  • Optimize Vehicle Performance:
    Support the definition and development of vehicle targets and specifications related to N&V.

  • Stay Up-to-Date:
    Maintain knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in N&V engineering.

  • Prepare Technical Documentation:
    Develop clear and concise reports, presentations, and technical documents.

  • Interact with CAE Team:
    Work closely with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) to virtually assess vehicle-level N&V performance.

  • Coordinate with N&V Labs and Technicians:
    Oversee and participate in N&V testing, including dynamometer evaluations, anechoic/reverberant chamber measurements, and on‑track assessments.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • Demonstrated experience in automotive N&V engineering and recent history of successful project delivery.

  • Proficiency in N&V data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., TestLab, Artemis, Pulse).

  • Knowledge of CAE tools for N&V simulation (optional but desirable).

  • Understanding of vehicle dynamics and acoustics principles.

  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, including vehicle target setting (VTS) and development methodologies.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}.
