Ferguson is now seeking an Engineered Solutions Manager – Subsurface Storage Solutions to lead national growth of our subsurface stormwater systems, including R‑Tank, UrbanForest, precast and arch chamber solutions. This role strengthens Ferguson’s market presence by driving product awareness, building key customer relationships, and equipping sales teams with the training and tools they need. You’ll collaborate closely with regional leadership, technical services, and vendor partners to expand adoption and support ongoing revenue growth.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a plan for results to meet overall business and strategic goals. Develop strategies to increase revenue, market share, new client targets, and product diversification.

  • Train and equip associates on subsurface storage solutions.

  • Make strategic trips to each Region to engage with local Geo Stormwater associates and present to local key identified potential customers.

  • Accompany associates on qualified sales calls and scheduled meetings.

  • Engage with Geo Directors of regions, Geo Stormwater Sales Managers and Senior Sales Managers to ensure there is synergy among associates and the strategy.

  • Interact and communicate regularly with Leadership and team members to ensure the company’s priorities are aligned.

  • Work closely with marketing on strategic initiatives to increase awareness around subsurface storage solutions including but not limited to: tradeshows/conferences, regional and national webinars, targeted lead generation campaigns, social media, case studies and other collateral.

  • Monitor sales trends and product performance results to accurately determine promotional efforts.

  • Support the Director of Engineered Solutions and Engineering with vendor partner leadership engagement as needed to assist with roll out of tiered vendor partnership program.

  • Collaborate with the Technical Services Manager on technical tools needed to support the growth of the relevant products and anticipated testing efforts needed to gain regulatory approvals.

  • Develop and align strategies, techniques, and tactics based on feedback from BU leadership, sales management, customer groups, and vendor partners.

  • Support the vetting of new potential solutions brought to Ferguson for consideration.

  • Actively participate in industry associations such as ASCE and regional engineering and construction organizations functioning as an ambassador for Ferguson Geo Stormwater.

  • Set and be accountable for both pipeline growth and subsurface storage solutions category sales goals nationwide.

  • Ensure participation and compliance with all training programs, exhibiting commitment to the long-term development of associates. Maintain Health and Safety guidelines, policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.

  • Continually enhance product knowledge and the available tools and technology to promote a professional image.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in stormwater, civil sitework, or technical sales.

  • Strong knowledge of subsurface stormwater storage systems and related solutions.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales and market‑growth plans.

  • Skilled in training, presenting, and supporting internal sales teams.

  • Strong relationship‑building ability with engineers, agencies, contractors, and vendor partners.

  • Ability to analyze sales trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project‑management skills.

  • Willingness to travel nationally for customer visits, training, and industry events.

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$6,900.30 - $15,033.70

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
