About the Role

This position provides technical leadership for the new project launch and keep mass production project running well in testing related.

What You Will Do

  • Provide lead test interface to Global Test Engineering or R&D in the implementation of optical and functional testing of vehicle camera modules.
  • Working with design hardware and software engineer to develop specification documents for test development.
  • Independently evaluate, select, and apply higher level troubleshooting techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment for continuous product/process improvement.
  • Provide assistance on unusual technical problems, make improvement or cost reduction project.
  • Responsible for training technicians and machine operators during product launches and trial builds.
  • Perform work that involves common types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, and equipment.
  • Validate and obtain approval/sign-off of test equipment in accordance with department/company procedures with documentation covering (as appropriate): Calibration routines, Measurement System Analysis (MSA / R&R), Risk Assessment, Maintenance schedule, recommended spares.
  • Establish and demonstrate test capability, and First Time Test Yield goals.
  • Work with outside suppliers to develop production test equipment and tools.
  • Work with Engineering team to review DFMEA.
  • Optical test DOE, product failure analysis, test yield and test coverage improvement, test time and scrap reduction.
  • Customer audit support.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Educational: BSEE (major in geometry optics / photoelectronic / optoelectronic and Electronics engineering or related, require to be familiar with vehicle camera structure and manufacturing test, focusing principle, chip sensor and lens. Know about MTF, SFR, FOV, DOF.)
  • Experience: 3-7 years in Optics and Electronics Test.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English.
  • Good Optics, Analog and Digital design/application experience.
  • MS Visual Studio (C/C++/C#, VB6.0/Net) for vehicle camera product is a plus.
  • Familiar with CAN analyzer, CAN ape is a plus.
  • Multi-tasking of multiple projects, strategic and positive thinking, be proactive and self-motivated.
  • MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Power point, Project scheduler) and Minitab.
  • Understanding of Statistical data for Gage R&R and Cpk analysis.
  • People-oriented, a good communicator, team player.
  • Confident, open and straight forward to present own opinions.
  • Diligent, highly responsible & reliable.
  • Committed to the company.
