Just imagine your future with us…
At Aurecon, we see the future through a very different lens. Do you?
Innovation, eminence and digital are at the heart of everything we do. Are you excited about the future?
Are you driven by the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and complex projects around the world and to learn from the best? We are.
Diversity is at the core of everything we do. We work together to create a culture based on respect, trust, and inclusiveness. Our differences are what fuel our creativity.
What will you do?
As a Road Engineer, you will transform engineering concepts into constructible designs that shape the future of transport infrastructure. You will play a vital role in developing high-quality design models, drawings, and documentation that support the safe and efficient delivery of roads and highways projects.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australia’s most significant transport infrastructure projects, reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world.
The scope of work and role will be as follows:
Develop and produce detailed road and civil design models to produce drawings using geometric design packages such as OpenRoads Designer or 12d or Civil 3D
Interpret design standards and translate engineering input into 3D models and provide outputs for plan production.
Collaborate with engineers and drafters to ensure accuracy, constructability, and integration of design elements.
Assist with digital design processes and participate in design reviews.
Apply quality assurance and Aurecon design protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:
Competence in Open Roads Designer (ORD), or 12D or Civil 3D
Demonstrated Australian design experience, including application of Austroads Design Guidelines.
Circa 7 years design experience
Demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
Applicants with 12d road design experience is preferred but not required. Those with Civil 3D or ORD are encouraged to apply, with an appetite to develop 12D design capabilities in the future – through on the job learning.
