About the Role
- Leading project quality control (including new projects and existing SOP projects) and PPAP preparation etc. related quality affairs
What You Will Do
- Responsible for initiating safe launch activities and monitoring the execution performance to ensure the new project is safely launched.
- Responsible for leading internal PSO document review and IPSO audit to ensure the new project gets into internal SOP without big quality concerns/risks.
- Responsible for collecting and preparing PPAP documents and communicating with customers to get their approval. Existing SOP project quality control maintenance
- Responsible for participating in failures analysis and quality issue investigation (including plant defects, customer 0km and warranty claims etc.) with other team members and driving for continuous improvement
- Responsible for delivering quality training and providing quality support to the project team
- Responsible for monitoring manufacturing process and activities to ensure compliance with internal quality requirements, customer requirement and system requirements. Continuous improvement activities
- Compliance with IATF16949 and BMS
- Other additional tasks assigned by his/her supervisor
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5 years’ quality working experience in automotive/electronics industries
- Must have very good quality control skills and be good at problem solving
- Familiar with SMT process, PCBA Assembly and Camera Assembly
- Have a thorough understanding of statistical methods, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and automotive quality management systems
- Quality-related experience is highly desirable
- Good presentation skills and communication skills
- Proficient in both oral and written English is a MUST
- A good team player
Bonus Points if You Have
- Abundant quality related experience in launching new project quality or process quality
- Be familiar with automotive industry standard and requirements, such as IATF16949, VDA 6.3 and 6.5 etc
- Familiar with certain automotive OEM requirements, like GM, BMW, GEELY, DAG, FORD etc
- Good problem-solving skill
- Much working experience on PQE, APQP Engineer
