At Lufkin Gears, Baker Hughes team, the Mechanical Design Engineer will work with Engineering and Manufacturing team.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects whilst adhering to industry technical regulations, business standards, practices, procedures, and product/ program requirements.
  • This includes using engineering principals, calculations and methods to design a wide range industrial power transmission products for various industries.
  • Developing new power transmission solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents set forth in the engineering design manual.
  • Working together with other engineers as well as other business functions.
  • Communicate about project deadlines, concerns, needs, and presents outcomes.
  • Delivering engineering designs and bill of materials on time and in quality as part of a cross functional team.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Must be Mechanically inclined.
