Our respected, growing organization has an exceptional strategy for the near term and beyond. Take your place on our strong team, and help us make significant contributions to the world.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise infrastructure and application observability by implementing and operating monitoring solutions that enable proactive detection, incident response, and service reliability.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance observability platforms such as Zabbix, Playwright, Prometheus, Grafana, and BigPanda across on-premises and cloud environments, with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Implement and maintain integrations among observability tools, event management platforms, and ITSM systems (ServiceNow) to automate incident and workflow processes.
  • Build and maintain alerts, dashboards, service health views, and reports aligned with defined standards and operational requirements.
  • Drive assigned observability projects or workstreams with minimal guidance, including tool enhancements, alert improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows (e.g., StackStorm, Python, Shell) to improve monitoring deployment, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot observability, monitoring, and event management issues, escalating complex problems appropriately, and contributing to root cause analysis.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including runbooks, dashboards, and procedures.
  • Mentor peers and junior team members as appropriate, while continuing to develop skills through mentorship from senior engineers.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 4–6 years of experience in infrastructure and application monitoring, observability platforms, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience managing monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Playwright scripts, or BigPanda, including alerting and dashboard creation.
  • Experience integrating monitoring tools with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent) or event management systems.
  • Working experience with automation and scripting using Python and/or Shell, including basic API integrations.
  • Understanding infrastructure, cloud, and application architectures and their operational monitoring requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks and projects.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to ask questions, escalate issues appropriately, and collaborate across teams.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to logging platforms and log aggregation pipelines (e.g., ELK, OpenSearch, Splunk).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native observability, SRE practices, or reliability engineering concepts.
